A Pacific Northwest Developer and Adventurer

An upbringing and a feeling of belonging here in the pacific northwest allows me to enjoy biking, hiking, climbing, and skiing as my active outdoor experiences of choice.

Practicing and performing vocals and guitar keeps my mind and fingers sharp, and grants me insights into pacing, tone and storytelling.

And of course games hold a special place in my heart. The medium of games allows us to immerse ourselves in stories, worlds, and experiences in an entirely unique way. I often find myself building to my heart's content in Minecraft worlds. Shaping tales and supporting collaborative storytelling among my friends through running TTRPG's can be so rewarding and healthy for the soul. And finding myself invested in the many emotional journeys of characters whose shoes I walk in have been some of the most human experiences I have found myself feeling.

Games are special, and can allow players to experience every conceivable emotion and type of engagement we could set out to evoke as developers. Using this art form to tell stories, create engaging and memorable player experiences, and build innovative and fresh experiences is an utmost passion of mine. Creating games and shaping their level spaces to deliver core gameplay and shape tone and pacing has allowed me to feel fulfilled as a storyteller and creative in a way I think nothing else truly compares to. So lets keep creating and building, cheers!
